A seldom talked about Twin Cam engine problem is crankshaft shifting. Unlike the Evolution and Shovelhead cranks, the TC crank is a press-together unit where the crankpin is a "hard" press fit into the two flywheels halves.

I am really excited about a new yellow convertible in my future. If it has a bowtie on it *or* a blue oval I think this time I will go for the bow tie. Please don’t take my Mustang card away. I will still have to keep my current car for my daughter. She has clamed it for her first car. (we will see)

Seems the power comes on at 2,000 rpm. With a 3.42 gear I don't feel much till it winds up. I may need to change to a lower gear a 3.73 or 4.11. That will have to wait for now.
